On-campus housing options will include double and tripled rooms in residence halls, and private bedrooms in on-campus apartments.
	February 1 through February 29, 2008 - Application period for Early Decision, Fall 2008, students available online. Please note the application is not available prior to February 1, 2008. To apply, Early Decision students should complete the following steps: Enter through the Cal Poly portal (my.calpoly.edu) using their Cal Poly portal user name and password. Select the "Housing" tab and then select "Housing Application System" Follow directions provided to submit the Housing application online Print and sign the Student Housing License Agreement and then mail to the address provided on the 'License Agreement' along with payment (see payment options below) or mark " Financial Aid"* as payment method, Print FORM 65 (housing regulations) and review with parents. Print payment coupons for subsequent installment housing payments. *Financial Aid - Students who have applied for Financial Aid can mark "Financial Aid" as the payment method on their Student Housing License Agreement. By choosing this payment option, housing and dining plan payments may be paid directly by Financial Aid. If the student's award falls below the amount needed, the office of Student Accounts will notify the student of any additional fees due. For more information visit the Financial Aid website.
	March 14, 2008 Payment to reserve housing space is due. Mailing the completed Student Housing License Agreement with payment to Cal Poly's University Cashier by March 14, 2008, reserves your space on campus. Payment can be made by one of the following methods. Attach check or money order to the Student Housing License Agreement and mail to: University Cashier, Administration Bldg., Room 131, Cal Poly State University, San Luis Obispo, CA 93407. By credit card online at www.afd.calpoly.edu/Student_Accounts/onlinepayments.htm. Please note you will be charged a convenience fee of 2.9%. Sorry, VISA not accepted. By Electronic Check online at www.afd.calpoly.edu/Student_Accounts/onlinepayments.htm.* Students who expect to receive sufficient Financial Aid to cover *both* their estimated registration fees and housing costs can mark "Financial Aid" as method of payment on the Housing License Agreement. Payments received after 4PM will be receipted on the following business day *If you experience any problems making your payment online, please contact the Student Accounts Office at 805.756.1428. If paying by Credit Card or "e-Check," a copy of the online receipt must be attached to the Student Housing License Agreement. Students can check application status and payment history by re-accessing the "Housing Application System" (via my.calpoly.edu.) Students who have secured on-campus housing will be sent a confirmation email.
	Early Decision Admitted Students who miss the Early Decision Application process can apply with regular Fall Admitted Students beginning early March (approximate date; date to be determined by mid-February.)
	June 6, 2008 Last day to make preference changes to your Housing application. Edits to your application will not change the application submission date. To make changes, re-access your Housing application through the Cal Poly portal (my.calpoly.edu), select the "Housing" tab and then "Housing Application."
	June 20, 2008 Dining Plan contract, payment information, and details regarding meal plan options, available at the Campus Dining website (*tentative date) calpolycorporation.org/campusdining/mealplan.asp.
	July 21, 2008 (tentative date) Dining plan contract and payment due
	August 13, 2008 Last day to cancel Fall Housing/Dining Plan without financial penalty. Students must submit a cancellation form 30 days prior to the residence hall move-in date to receive a full refund minus a five dollar installment fee.
	Anytime prior to August 20, students can submit their Emergency Contact and Medical Information online through the "Housing Application System." This information must be submitted before students will be permitted to view their room assignments on August 20. This information is in addition to Emergency Information students may already have submitted to Admissions.
	August 20, 2008 - Room assignments for Fall Quarter posted online. To view room assignment, re-access the Housing application through the Cal Poly portal (my.calpoly.edu), select the "Housing" tab and then the "Housing Application System."
	Submit the Meningococcal Disease Response Form to Cal Poly's Health Services. Link to Cal Poly's Health Services for details regarding meningococcal disease and current legislation. A "Meningococcal Disease Response Form" must be submitted prior to moving into the residence halls. Response Form available at www.hcs.calpoly.edu/MeningInfo.pdf
	September 13 and 14, 2008, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, halls open for Move-in for Fall Quarter, 2008. Students must show photo ID (drivers' license, or California ID) before receiving their room key.
	September 15 - 19, 2008, WOW (Week of Welcome orientation)
	September 15 - 21, 2008, 12 Noon to 6 p.m., Monday - Sunday, residence halls open for Move-in for Fall Quarter, 2007. Students must show photo ID (drivers' license, or California ID) before receiving their room key.
	September 22, 2008 Fall Quarter classes begin Monday.
