The Honors Community
at Cerro Vista Apartments

Freshmen accepted to the University Honors Program have the opportunity to live together in an on-campus housing community that fosters and supports studious pursuits and academic achievement. The Honors Community is located within the Cerro Vista Apartments.

The Honors Community works closely with the University Honors Program staff to develop a living, learning experience that enhances the overall academic experience at Cal Poly. Students living in the Honors Community are expected to be committed to active participation in the Honors Program. Active participation in the Honors Program includes adherence to the academic standards of the program as well as enrollment in Honors courses including Honors 100: Orientation to the Honors program in Fall 2009.

Freshmen students selecting the Honors Community need to be independent, and have the ability and experience to live in an apartment setting. Freshmen living in the Cerro Vista Apartments are required to have a modified meal plan.
