Transitions
at the Cerro Vista and Poly Canyon Village Apartments

The Transitions Program offers programs and activities in an Apartment-style living environment.
This community is for first-time students as well as first and second year students who are
comfortable and experienced with a more independent lifestyle.

The Cerro Vista and Poly Canyon Village Apartments have common living spaces with private and shared bedrooms, allowing each student to transition in to a self-sufficient lifestyle. First-time freshmen students assigned to Apartments are required to have a meal plan even though the Apartments have a full-size kitchen. Transfer students and continuing Cal Poly students living in Apartments are not required to have a meal plan.

Students will have the opportunity to participate in programs and activities that support their
positive academic transition while living in an environment providing social and educational
activities that highlight independent living.
