Early Start Programs Move-In
Please check back in summer for 2023-24 Early Move-in programs and dates.
University Housing supports Early Start Program participants with campus housing in exchange for their commitment to support Mustang Move-in and other activities related to fall opening. Early Start Program participants must adhere to the move-in dates and times agreed upon by their sponsoring program. Please ensure that you are on the list sent from your program to University Housing for early move-in. If you belong to two groups, move-in with the program that has the earliest start time.
As you are arriving early, your building/room may still be undergoing preparations — including limitations to utilities and cleaning. In rare cases, some residents may not be able to move directly into their fall assignments and will be accommodated elsewhere.
Move-in appointments are required for any student moving to campus on or after Sept. 9, 2022. New students can book a move-in appointment in the Housing Portal on MyCalPoly starting Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2022 at 9 a.m. The system will close at 11:59 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2022. Continuing students can book starting Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2022.

After-hours check-in: Staffing is very limited after hours. Please arrive at your designated time. If you do arrive after hours, contact the RA on-call using the number posted at the front door of your building or community center.
