Residential Life and Education is focused on providing experiences to explore Unlimited Possibilities In Your Home. Each focus area below includes learning outcomes that help residents navigate learning outside of the classroom.
Academics to Career
Develop living environments that enhance the academic experience, support academic excellence and provide interactions between faculty, staff and students to promote Learn By Doing and strengthen career planning.
Engage in interactions that unite community, enhance the ability to communicate respectfully through resolution and explore independence.
Leaders for Social Change
Cultivate environments that promote inclusion of all individuals by increasing knowledge of personal identities, engaging residents in advocating for self and others as leaders, and providing exposure to campus, local and global topics.
University Housing staff are a team of professional and student staff members that include Resident Advisors (RAs), Coordinators of Student Development (CSDs), Learning Community Coordinators (LCCs), and Assistant and Associate Directors.
Our CSDs (professional staff), RAs (student staff) live and work in the on-campus communities and partner with residents, faculty and staff to create an environment that supports academic success and creates opportunities for positive social interaction and personal development in the spirit of the Mustang Way. Most of our staff members work in the residence halls and apartment communities. The Residential Life and Education main office location is:
